Biography of Farooq M. Arjomand

Mr. Farooq Mahmood Arjomand, a U.A.E. national, was born in 1959 in Dubai. He finished his High School Education and graduated in Business Management from the Seattle Pacific University, Washington - Seattle. He started his career as a banker with HSBC in 1984. He gained experience across all departments namely, customer service, private banking, corporate finance, trade services and investment banking. During his stint with HSBC he became the founding member of Amlak Finance and Emaar Properties. His family background was built on trading of textiles for decades, which was one of the fastest growing companies in the Middle East, importing from the Far East and exporting to the Middle East and GCC countries. Now having attained immense banking experience he floated with the idea of starting his own business. Today Arjomand Group has become one of the fastest growing companies and has embraced great success. Arjomand Group caters to over 15 industries and has offices in Europe, the Far East and GCC countries.
